My guarantee.
Caring for my customers and their gardens in the same way in which I would treat my own garden is very important to me. To reassure you I will provide the following guarantee:
I promise to:
Always make an appointment and arrive on time.
Turning up unannounced can come across as rude, it is your garden and private space to enjoy, and I will not impose on you. If I am going to be more than 15 minutes late I will phone you to let you know I am on my way. If adverse weather conditions or any unforeseen disasters prevent me from working, I will of course phone you to rearrange a suitable appointment.
Be clear on price.
I charge an hourly rate for garden work and according to size when it comes to design work and planting plans. If, for any reason, I have to change my prices, I will give you plenty of warning. Sourcing materials such as plants, seeds, herbicides etc will cost extra, but I promise to keep my prices competitive and within an agreed budget. For regular maintenance the frequency and length of the visits will be agreed so you know how much you will be paying and what I will provide for you. Of course this does not stop you requesting additional or seasonal work if you need.
Be friendly and polite.
This is your space and I am being invited into it by you. I will not have music playing, smoke or swear and will be appropriately dressed. I will always be friendly, polite and cheerful. My time in your garden is for me to work and that is what I will do.
Provide a professional service.
My work will be neat, clean and tidy and I will always clear away before I leave. I have had a strong passion for gardening since childhood (I blame my Dad!) and I will apply the same high standards and attention to detail that I do in my own garden. I can provide guidance and advice, however if I don’t know the answer straight away I will find out for you.
